school story:
Well, I suffer from a worsening case of CRS (Can't Remember ****) so I may have to add to this one too. Many good stories, however. Freshman year (yeah, I know, that was technically Anderson HS) we won a basketball tournament and had a VERY memorable party courtesy of Greg Guenther's Dad (our host). Sophomore year was our first year at the new school - which was a serendipitous (www.thesaurus.com) split because ALL the cute girls came to Turpin instead of Anderson. Junior year was, I believe, the year that the soccer guys introduced me to Ultimate Frisbee - those guys were, and still are, a very bad influence. Had a bit of a problem at Prom that year, though. Still haven't forgiven Bob Dames. Senior year - loads of good stories that went along with our growing freedom. One of my personal faves involves my dear Mom (who some may recall was a teacher at the Middle School): the Senior Skip Day Canoe/Beerfest was a very poorly kept secret, and Mrs Quinlan scheduled an important test in Calculus that day she insisted could not be made up. What to do? My Mom told me that I'd always regret it if I didn't go - I went and had a fabulous time. Thanks, Mom.
